You say that I’m not good enough
That I can’t measure up to you
But please take a moment to realize
I am what I am, there’s nothing you can do
I’m not a spelling wizard
Or a master at the arts
I’m not a superhero with special powers
I can’t heal a broken heart
I wasn’t a child prodigy
I don’t have supermodel looks
I’m not a self-made billionaire
And I can’t write self-help books
But I don’t lie to gain popularity
I hate putting other people down
I never make promises I can’t keep
I don’t feel joy in making others frown
I don’t have thousands of friends
Though mine are the best they can be
If you ask them, for sure, they’ll tell you
That I don’t care what you think, I’m still me
